After a lovely 17 hour travel day (a slight delay in the snowed-in SLC airport), Mateo and I finally made it to California, while our "driver" drove our car to our destination, through a Sierra Nevada blizzard. Oh, and my suitcase arrived only 24 hours later. Not bad. We drove the long way home, just because we wanted to put 2,000 more miles on the car and see how our butts flatten out after sitting in a car for three days. No really, we had a great vacation. The best part was seeing our family and friends and being in 75-80 degree weather in beautiful Southern Cal. Here's some pictures for your enjoyment. Happy New Year!
